Announcement
By God’s grace we pulled it off and concluded the 2019-2020 school year!! Congratulations to our graduates – we will celebrate you properly in a few days – and a job well done to all the rest of our magnificent students and parents who worked hard and never gave up!
Preparations for Next Year
Next year is going to be great! After the storm, not only comes the calm, but also the blessings. We were pleased to hear from our governor last night that not a single child, ages 0-18, lost his/her life due to Covid-19 in Florida. That’s a good sign for schools! Yes, there will be:
- Frequent hand washing and sanitizing
- Physical distancing
- Temperature checks
- Masks and/or Face Shields if still necessary
- Enforcement of Ill children policy
- Staggered arrival and dismissal times
- Touch-free check-in
- One direction rotation of classes
- Private classroom water coolers instead of common water fountains
…among other preventative measures. Nevertheless, at the end of the day, we will be in a better place, not only because every effort will be made to prevent disease from spreading, but also because we will be prepared to face any future closing in greater capacity, after the introduction of our very own Learning Management System through FACTS. In short, we are preparing for the best year ahead!!
Summer Reading Challenge
To encourage our students to read over the summer, we are presenting this summer reading challenge to all of our students who are entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. Access the suggested reading list here and keep track of books you read this summer. The student in each grade who reads the most pages will receive an Amazon gift card valued at $25. So, keep track of all the pages you read in this log and win! The books on the list are suggestions only, so children may read other books not on the list, if you do not have access to them.
Yearbook
Our yearbooks will be ready in the middle of the summer, and we would still like to plan a yearbook signing party where our students can come see their friends and get each other’s “autographs”. Even though the party would take place on the last week in July, the order form is ready for you to reserve your copy of the yearbook. Purchase your copy here. Don’t wait until they’re all sold out. We look forward to an exciting celebration!
Zoom Summer Sessions
Enroll your child for some fun and interactive online sessions in math, language arts, reading, and science – tailored to your child’s needs. These sessions will take place from June 29th – August 7th. For more information, or to register, please click on this link.
May the Lord watch over you and your family this summer, and may our Trinitas family not only stay strong and healthy, but also grow with the inclusion of new members!!
See you soon,
Pastor Jorge
