Announcement
This past Saturday, schools at both the state and local levels have made the decision to keep students at home, continuing with the distance learning format through the remainder of the school year. Trinitas Academy also believes that this decision is in the best interest of our students, staff, and their respective families, and has decided to do likewise.

Academics
After three weeks of distance learning, we hope that everyone has tried their very best to overcome initial “hurdles”, and has now adjusted and is well acquainted with teachers’ formats and expectations. Please make sure your child remains caught up with his/her assignments and attempts to follow a daily routine that assimilates to the regular school hours as much as possible. Our students are receiving grades for their online classwork, quizzes, as well as tests, particularly in the core subject areas. Although our teachers have been flexible to this point and understanding with their students as we all adapt to our new format, please don’t allow your child to accumulate past incomplete assignments.

Calendar Updates
Throughout these final weeks of school, we will keep you informed of plans to reschedule postponed events or schedule new events over the summer, such as Kindergarten, 5th grade, 8th grade, and 12th grade graduations; yearbook signing parties, and similar – as they develop. As far as the Terranova3 National Achievement Tests that were originally scheduled for the week of April 27th, they will very likely be administered in the fall of next school year, sometime in September. Keep checking Renweb and our school website for new calendar updates. Our last day of school will still be June 4th, and if you are interested in distance learning summer school for your child to better prepare him/her for next school year, be on the lookout for more information to come on that opportunity.

Bible Curriculum
We have obtained the digital version of our Bible workbooks which our students have been learning from since the beginning of the year. Your child’s teacher will be incorporating these in their lesson plans and uploading them to RenWeb.

Re-Enrollment
In order to successfully complete our commitment to stick together during these challenging times, we ask that you please finalize your child’s re-enrollment so that we can better plan for the 2020-2021 school year. Soon you will receive more details about our new and exciting referral program. You better than anyone can spread the word on the difference Trinitas Academy is making in your child’s life. You have experienced first-hand the amazing dedication of our teachers and their determination to help their students succeed in all areas. Let’s keep growing together!

LUOA
Trinitas Academy High School is affiliated with Liberty University Online Academy. Any of our eight grade parents who may be interested in knowing more about our program and who may be considering it as one of their options for their middle school graduate, please contact Ms. Xiovan Mesa at xmesa@trinitasacademy.com for more information, or call her at (954) 581-2744, ext. 115. We would love for any of our eight graders to continue being part of our Trinitas student body!
